New platform from Ant Group

The Chinese fintech Ant Group - which is now ready to launch the largest initial public offering in the world - has announced a new platform within its blockchain business.

Ant Group has separated itself from Alibaba, an e-commerce giant, and is the parent company of China's largest digital payment service Alipay.

AntChain, part of the AntChain Group, today launched a new platform of digital rights services. It combines blockchain technology with SI to enable creators to securely authenticate and verify all types of original content - whether video, images or written material.

This platform generates a unique, tamper-proof copyright certificate and notary seal for each work that is uploaded to its database. These certificates are intended for use in cases of copyright infringement and tort. The company claims that thanks to these services its users can save 95% of the costs usually associated with obtaining copyright registration and certification.

In addition, the AntChain platform includes digital ID and search services that help creators more effectively track and detect possible copyright infringements. According to AntChain, about 10 million original works are already uploaded and certified every day on the new platform.

One of the first partners to join the new platform during the trial period is the digital music copyright distribution network, Shanghai C.C. Music Culture. The AntChain platform generates intelligent contracts that record and automatically distribute the revenue due to musicians and copyright distributors.

Since 2015, when the AntChain Group started working with blockchain solutions, it has developed its own increasingly advanced platforms that combine technology with the AI and the Internet of Things, and support blockchain research and development abroad.

Despite its serious involvement in blockchain, the company has also changed the AntChain brand with a bit of humor and panache.
